πŸŒ™ How I Can Help

Healing doesn't have to be complicated.

Sometimes it begins with lighting a candle, writing down an intention, taking a deep breath, or simply giving yourself permission to rest.

At Witchy Moonspells, you'll find gentle guidance through three simple pillars.

🌿 Rest

Slow down and make space for yourself.

Discover rituals and practices that help you pause, set healthy boundaries, quiet your mind, and remember that rest is something you deserveβ€”not something you have to earn.

🌿 Restore

Gently refill your cup.

Explore healing rituals, journaling, moon ceremonies, and self-care practices designed to help you recover from exhaustion, process emotions, and restore your inner balance.

🌿 Reconnect

Come home to yourself.

Reconnect with your intuition, create meaningful intentions, embrace new beginnings, and rediscover the magic that has always been within you.

πŸŒ™ meet Martina

I'm Martina, the heart behind Witchy Moonspells.

Originally from Sweden, I've called the UK home for the past 25 years. Creativity has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I held my first solo exhibition in Stockholm at just 18 and later studied at one of Sweden's most respected art schools.

But life didn't unfold in the way I expected.

As a young woman, I experienced deep depression, loss, and a constant feeling that I didn't quite belong. On the surface, I had a loving family and wonderful friends, yet I struggled to understand why the life I was expected to want never quite felt like mine.

I felt different.

For many years, I searched for where I fitted in. Looking back, I realise I wasn't searching for a place. I was searching for myself.

Leaving Stockholm was the beginning of that journey. I found myself in Wales, where I spent ten years painting, reflecting, and slowly rebuilding. Later, life led me to Dartmoor, where I found something I'd been longing for all along: a sense of home, belonging, and the comforting realisation that perhaps I wasn't so different after all.

Over the years, I've created hundreds of paintings, but creativity has taught me something far more important than how to make art. It has shown me that healing often begins when we allow ourselves to slow down, reflect, and express what words alone cannot.

Then life invited me into another season of change.

Over three consecutive years, I lost my dad, then my mum, and finally my beloved cat. Soon afterwards, I faced six months of serious health challenges that forced me to stop and look at life differently.

Not long after coming home from hospital, one of my closest friends told me she was experiencing burnout and had stepped away from all her commitments. She is one of the strongest, most reliable women I know. It reminded me of another friend who had walked the same path a few years earlier.

It made me think of how many women carry so much for everyone else while quietly neglecting themselves.

Sometimes it's easier to care for someone else than it is to care for ourselves.

That realisation became the seed of Witchy Moonspells.

I wanted to create the kind of place I would give my friends.

A place where you don't have to explain why you're tired.

A place where you can show up exactly as you are.

A place where you feel you belong.

For me, moon magic isn't about complicated rituals or having special gifts. It's about creating moments of intention in everyday life. Lighting a candle. Taking a deep breath. Writing down what's on your heart. Watching the moon reminds us that every ending makes space for a new beginning.

I don't believe healing has to be perfect.

I believe it begins with feeling safe.

Feeling seen.

Feeling connected.

Feeling like you belong.

My hope is that Witchy Moonspells becomes that place for you.

A gentle sanctuary where you can rest, restore, reconnect, and remember that you never have to walk life's difficult seasons alone.

I'm so grateful you're here.

Welcome to the circle.

πŸŒ™ With love,

Martina
